King of Prussia Maggiano's | Bridal Shower

It was a pleasure to photograph Vicky’s bridal shower in early July. King of Prussia is known for some great restaurants and venues, so Maggiano’s  -  the reserved bridal shower venue – did not fall short! It was the perfect place as it was elegant, cozy, and allowed for some great interactions and amazing food.

Rushland Farm | Wedding

Sunshine gleamed over the beautiful greenery at the Rushland farm on May 28th. It was a hot and humid day, but also a day full of special moments of laughter, love, and friendship. It was the day Helen and Dan exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. It was a joy to join in the celebration and document the day as it unfolded.

Rittenhouse Square | Engagement

It happened! This beautiful Rittenhouse Square session happened. I was at the point of doing an anti-rain dance – oh, yes I truly was! Weather just didn’t want to cooperate with our plans and after multiple postponements, I was thankfully, lucky enough to meet Emily and Mitch at Rittenhouse Square in early April. It ended up being brisk and really windy, but it was over 50 degrees outside and there was no rain in sight. Wind can be a great benefit to a photo shoot and it did create a more natural atmosphere around the couple. The waves created by the wind looked so elegant as they swept through Emily’s hair and the luscious greenery that made up 90% of the park really made the couple stand out.

Delaware River | Wedding

Time flies when you meet your partner for life. Sometimes I wonder if I’d prefer time to stand still instead, but then I realize that I would miss out on all the wonderful times that are yet to come. 11 years have passed since their meeting. Many moments of love, companionship, and laughter. Laura met Eddie in 2005 when she used to bartend. They hit it off instantly as they spent hours talking that first night of their meeting and then went to see a movie together. Even to this day, they share their love of movies and movie nights.

Philadelphia Museum of Art | Family Photo Shoot

This was the second time I was asked to do a family shoot with Val and Isa. The first time we met for a photo session, it was during the warm months in May of last year and everything was just beginning to bloom. This time around, everything was golden and there was a November chill in the air. We met at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and made our way down to the gazebo area. I always enjoy capturing photos at an intimate part of a popular attraction. There is something special about finding a spot that hasn’t been portrayed a certain way before.

Independence National Historic Park | Family Photo Shoot

It was a Sunday - the day after Halloween. It was a little cloudy, but a great improvement in weather as we had to postpone our original session date due to a potential hurricane. Yes, a hurricane that never actually came.

This autumn shoot is still fresh in my mind as it holds some delightful memories. We met in the late afternoon at  Independence National Historic Park, where majority of couples get their wedding photos taken. However, this was a day designated for a fun family outing instead.

Norristown Farm Park | Family Photo Shoot

I spent a lovely fall afternoon photographing this fun family. The day was perfect. It wasn’t cold yet, but there was a pleasant chill in the afternoon air. The sun beamed down upon the tan-colored fields at Norristown Farm Park.
